What is Yoga?
 
Yoga has been around for thousands of years, so has certainly stood the test of time. It develops both mental and physical strength, as well as flexibility and stamina, all of which are vital ingredients in dealing with today’s hectic lifestyle.

My Class will generally consist of pranayama (breathing techniques), asanas (posture work) and a final guided relaxation session.

Health

  • Please be sure to fill out a questionnaire and hand it back to me 
  • Please inform me of any medical problems, either present or past
  • Please let me know if you are pregnant or have recently had a baby
  • Please consult your G.P. if you are unsure whether yoga is suitable for you

General

  • Please work at a level/pace that is suitable for you.
  • Feel able to rest if you need.
  • Work at your own maximum.
  • Mats will be provided.
  • Wear comfortable clothes in which you can move easily
  • Bring warm layers, a blanket and your own mat if you have one.
  • Try not to eat for at least 1 hours before class. You may like to bring water with you.
